Cool OPT7 LED Conversion Kit for 4G TL

Anyone replaced their DRL/High Beam with the OPT7 LED Conversion Kit on their 4G TL? I am thinking of getting them this spring, but would like to know if anyone out there already experimented on it. I did a quick search in the forum but didnt come across anything.

OPT7 LED Conversion Kit

I know that LED will through the error but, according to OPT7, they include the capacitor in the kit, in case the LED setup throws the error.

OPT7 Response

Thank you all in advance.

I have this kit for my Fog lights.
They're awesome!

You'll notice that with the engine off and the lights on, you can actually hear the fans running from inside the cabin. Doesn't bother me though, can't hear them when the engine is running anyways.

How is the light cut off on them? I have HIDs in the fog and they do have a bit of a glare, does lit up the road pretty well though. Good thing you mentioned the fan noise. The noise would have got me worried.

I wonder if this set will work with our set up DRL/High Beam. Will it dim on DRL and at full bright on High Beam? I am considering JDM ASTAR 6TH Generation 2800 Lumens Cree LED Headlight, Xenon White(Total output 5600 lumens) (9005 HB3) since I think the braided cooling belts will be less prone to failure than the fans.

I bought whole bunch of 168 sized LED from JDM AStar and I am really liking them. I might give their headlight a shot in my Motorcycle. I want to put the LED in my motorcycle but majority of fan based LED bulbs are not recommended for my bike because the headlight has a rubber boot behind it to seal it off from the water and dust. These LED bulbs with braid might do the trick for me.

If you guys looking for best light output led.. You cannot go wrong with
Amazon.com: LEDONLY 110W 6000K H11 Super Bright Adjustable Focus Length H8/H11 LED Headlight Bulb Conversion Kit: Automotive Amazon.com: LEDONLY 110W 6000K H11 Super Bright Adjustable Focus Length H8/H11 LED Headlight Bulb Conversion Kit: Automotive

i have them in my MDX HI-beams and Fog lighs, light output is unbelievable. Cannot comment on reliability, but much brighter than morimoto 35w xenon (measured with lux meter) If it will last in my fogs will retrofit my LOW beams...
