Oil percentage
I was wondering, when looking at the oil percentage as it drops. Does that correlate with the dipstick reading? Hope I didn't sound too "noobish" I don't know that's why I'm asking this question. Thanks.

No it does not. You'll just have to check the oil level the old fashioned way.

Nope, it's not an oil level percentage, it's an oil life percentage. The maintenance minder computer calculates expected remaining oil life based on mileage driven, engine load, and probably other magic, then reminds you to change it when expected. Proper oil level has to be checked manually.
The only thing in the gauge cluster remotely related to oil level is the "oh shit light":
And if you see that, it's because you have little to no oil pressure (either due to little to no oil, or oil pump failure), and you're not gonna have a good day.
