Oil life percentage not showing

Hello I'm trying to reset my maintenance due soon light because I forgot to do it when I had my oil change not to long ago, looked all over you Tube but everything I saw you had to get to the oil life percentage part and reset it. Problem here is my 2012 tl base model doesn't show my oil life %. Just skips right over that part and has all the other options but the oil life percentage, ive never seen the percentage display since I've had the car about 7 months ago just did the oil changeand filter when I got the car. Anybody with the same problem?

Have you use the SEL/RESET button on the steering to change miles to oil pct?

Yes I have it goes from the total Km the car has to trip A, trip B, and back to the the total Km, it just skips right over the oil percentage and doesn't show it

Solucion to reset maintenance light when oil life % doesn't display

OK guys here's the fix, so my 2012 tl base model doesn't show the oil percentage life so I was having a hard time reseting the maintenance light, I treid everything on you tube and even on here with the people that treid to help. So what yo do is with the ignition all the way off you push both the i and the select button at the same time (before you push the button twice to turn on acc mode) leave it pressed till the reset menu for Maintenance pops up and WALA! I saw a bunch of videos online and even treid asking on here but got no where, found the answer on a Mexican Facebook group for TLs. If anyones having the same problem with not being able to reset maintenance light because the oil life% doesn't show there's your answer. I'm still wondering why my oil life percentage doesn't show(meybe it's a base model) 🤷‍♂️

If you have a base model, you wouldn't have the push button start. That trim comes with a switchblade key like the tsx. If you have nav/backup cam then you most likely have the FWD with the tech package.

I'm in Mexico so meybe that's why these models are that way, it came out of an acura dealership but my driver side panel says manufactured USA honda Co. it comes with the push start however I don't have Navi or back up camara. Other than that I think everything is the same and obviously Km not miles. I have seen other acuras out here with the whole tech package so that's why I'm guessing it's a base model
