done in exactly 1 hr 10 min. Does not include time to start compressor and jack up car. I had a couple of issues...
1: I had 1 stripped nut on the J-Pipe while taking it out (I was rushing)
2: Could not find a couple of my tools (I blame this on the wife)
3: there are 4 tabs on the Cat, that I don't think should be there. One became a big PIA when trying to get one of the bolts tightened. If I had take a little time to look around, I would have removed these prior to install.
4: I'm just not as fast as I used to be, but very happy I did not need to pull out the oxy-acedelyn torch.

I'll give it a butt-dyno and let you know what I think in a little bit. I'll probably do some magnaflows later on as well.

Does your J pipe touch the transfer case like mine in this thread? https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-295/people-have-xlr8-j-pipe-861101/ Just curious, when did you order your J pipe and when did you receive it?

No touching, fitment was good. It took 7 days from ship date to receive, but that will be dependent oh how far you are from Connecticut.

No good butt-dyno yet, as I have been toting my daughter around, and don't drive fast with her in the car.

Install pics

Pics of the install... You can see in the last pic that I partially stripped a nut. This was a bit if a tight fit getting that bolt out, and even tighter getting it back in. In the 2nd to last pic, notice the tab, that I had to bend down. If you get the hi-flow cat from xclr8, I think it would be best to remove all 4 tabs prior to install.

I didn't bother weighing the parts, but the new j-pipe/cat are definitely lighter than the OEM parts.

There as a bit of a funny smell on the first 2 drives, but that is probably just some burning off, or the new cat... I expect it should be gone in another drive or 3.
