Nice place ya got here! Anyway, recently purchased a 2012 Graphite TL SH-AWD Tech Package. A blast to drive! However, my wife drives the car so I don't get to enjoy it, and stuck with an 06' Toyota 4Runner. However, as the wife says: "Happy Wife equals Happy Life"! Can't post photos yet or attachments, but will soon!

Good value car! I looked at Lexus, BMW, Audi, and Infinity. The TL was the best bang for the buck! Thanks for the warm welcome!

Nope. Mercs are nice, but not that nice to me to justify $$$. I look at TCO, reliability, value, and fun. The TL is extremely fun to drive. I am old, but not that old to drive a recliner yet . Maybe in a few years...

However, I can say the Acura Stealer treated me like I was a Merc customer. I returned to the stealer to have some brightwork realigned on the passenger side front and rear door, they did courtesy checks (oil, brakes, torque of wheel lug nuts, tire pressure, washed car). I was impressed. Never been treated that well by a stealer.

Just pulled the trigger on new 2012 SH/AWD/TL/Tech/Graphite/Taupe; lease
Wasn't ready to upgrade from my '09/TL/Tech, but my dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Check it out:
36/Months/$479/per/TAX INCLUDED/$3,000 down,/10,000 miles per, which covers bank fee, all excess taxes, all motor vehicle fees, plus Acura Carpeted TL mats, Acura Hat, & wheel locks, installed; plus they gave me a $468 check to cover my last month's '09 lease payment;Acura Finance is rolling over the remaining 12,000 miles to my new lease; 42,000 miles total, & zero last month's payment; WHEW!
Picking it up Wednesday.
It's only costing me$10/month more than my current '09/TL/Tech lease.

The Chrome Trim around the Passenger Side Front/Rear Window doors did not line up. One side was higher than the other. It was suggested that the door was misaligned.

The Stealer checked the tolerances and found it to be in spec. It was lined up and looks perfect. I am puzzled how it left the factory in that condition.

However, it the car travels by Rail/Trailer, a good bump would knock some things out of alignment. No issues with the car.

The ELS System rocks! Best audio I have heard from a factory system. I wanted the Tech package so my wife would stop playing with her iPhone while driving. Now, she leaves the phone and Fob in purse, can answer calls, and with A2DP Bluetooth support, plays her massive music collection.

Now, if I could just get the car out of her hands...

NICE ride!! I have a 2012 Tech TL. I was a little torn with the SHAWD but now that I have seen the mpg's without AWD, I'm glad I made the choice. However, There isnt enough snow to matter here, and the AWD is CRAZY fun to drive. I kept the dealers car for a few hours before I went back for the tech package... Great choice with the Black on Black!! And of course, CONGRATS on the new car!!

Yep. Too much fun.Well it's actually Graphite Luster with Ebony interior. The Pix don't do the car any justice. My wife was sold on CBP, but after hearing about washing car frequently, we settled on the Graphite. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Well occasionally, she insists I take the whip. I am afraid I won't give it back. The car is that good. I hate driving, too much #@*^ to put up with. But I really enjoy driving the TL.

Dave, that is very interesting. I have noticed the same thing too with my 2012 TL - the chrome trim did not quite line up completely. However, it was sort of minor so I just left it alone. Maybe next time I go in for service, I should ask them to re-hang the door to align it completely. Thanks!

Well the Stealership took pix and sent them to the District Manager, who checked her car. I was told the misalignment was worse on her car. They then checked the cars on the lot, and some had similar issues. They were amazed someone had noticed it, and said something about it. They would not tell me how they lined up the trim. But Acura will fix it, and that's all that counts.
