New here

Hello all.

I have been lurking here for quite a while. I purchased a 2009 TL SH-AWD with Tech (Grigio Metallic w/ Umber) today and am waiting for delivery.

I have a few questions while I wait for the car....
I have a set of Honda wheel looks and does anyone know if the Honda wheel locks fit the 2009 TL or must I go buy the Acura wheel locks?? BTW The Honda part # is 08181-SF0A2AH.

Also, where can I get a good price for Acura all season floor mats, mud guards, trunk tray (and wheel locks if the Honda ones do not fit the TL)?

Don't know about the wheel locks but you can get all your other items from one of our AZ vendors- Tim @ hondacuraworld.

Congrats btw!!

It depends on which Honda the locks are for. If it's an Odyssey, Ridgeline or Pilot, you are probably OK, otherwise, you'll probably need new ones.

Congrats! Wheel locks should be on your car already, if the dealer doesn't throw him in for free, kick him in the ding ding! We look forward to pics of your new bad boy!

Congrats! I picked up my TL earlier this week and although I forgot to ask, it had the wheel locks already installed by the dealer. Tell your dealer that from what you've heard from other Acura buyers, including the wheel locks is a common practice.

Congrats! You have picked one of my favorite color combos for the 4G TL - Grigio + umber! Please be sure to post some pics once you get the car! :-)

LOL - I agree.
I can't believe this isn't standard for the SH-AWD Tech.

Congrats OP.

The spare wheel locks from my S2000 do NOT fit the 09 TL.

I was looking at all the 2009 TL's the dealer had in the lot and I saw that some had wheel locks and some didn't.

My 09 AWD w Tech had the "Pro package" already added by the dealer, which included the wheel locks. They are not officially included on the tech package, but I'm sure you could negotiate.

I find it funny that salesman don't throw in the wheel locks...how cheap is that? Unless you steal a car from me, consider it part of the deal.

I'm surprised they didnt include wheel locks. When we got our 03MDX, 04TL and 07MDX and now the 09TL they all came with wheel locks. For my 09, the dealer even put on the mud guards and gave me the all season mats.
I'd go back and ask for them!

As I said, it all depends on how big your nuts are.

It's not the size of the nuts - it's the amount of torque applied!

Actually it has to do with the size of the stud!

My dealer threw them in.

Welcome to the 4G forum & Congrats! Your combo was what I test drove originally. The Umber looks so hot with that dark exterior. And try to get those mud guards on ASAP. With all the crap on the roads you want to protect that paint. Enjoy!

Frickin' sweet! The Black Pearl actually works with the Umber interior for me, although I feel the Ebony is slighty "stealthier", but this is really sweet too! Congrats and welcome to the club!

Consider the trunk mat too, it's really sweet, cheap, however a little flimsy, but it does the job to preserve speaker cabinet material in the trunk. I got mine at http://www.acurapartssuperstore.com/...b0466sn6pc62i6 How can anyone not like this ride?

Congrats on your new purchase and welcome to AZ! Love the exterior but not crazy about the interior colors. Too much like Halloween.

Acutally there is a white FWD TL park on the 8 ave of Brooklyn. Its there all the time. If you r lucky enough, there is also a brand new white GTR park around 8th ave.

Why are you trolling AZ? I already posted a pic over at TOV, and I'm not going to post it over here. Nearly every Honda/Acura I've bought comes with wheel locks installed (some don't though, but I think that's more of an individual dealer thing).

Asking for a legitimate picture of a car that you claim to have previously owned and one of what you currently own is not trolling, especially when you have been labeled by everyone else as a troll.

If you want to post a picture, don't post the one that you took of your neighbors car from the sidewalk when you were walking home from school using your moms cell phone camera.

Until then, your label will remain troll on my part and probably most everyone else here.

No one here thinks I'm a troll. Come over to TOV and we can argue this out there especially since we're arguing a TOV topic. And please stop the flaming. Thanks.
