I traded for a 2012 SH-AWD Advance Package today. Traded in my 2009 SH-AWD Base for it. Love all the bells and whistles. Only scare is after my '01, '04 and '09 TL's, all black on black, I broke "tradition" and went with a Silver Moon. My wife and son were shocked that I didn't go with another black car. I think it was time for a change. Maybe get an ear ring too....... Have to spend time learning how to work all the new toys but looking forward to the adventure.

Congrats on the new ride and for the courage to buck your usual trend. All of my TL's (2k, 04, 08 and 10) have been WDP/Parchment except I did go with an Ebony interior on the 10 (with no regrets I might add). I think you'll enjoy not having to wash the silver as much to keep it looking sharp!

Still have the ebony interior so no change there. I do like the blind spot warning, however with my mirrors adjusted out I can see the cars long before the sensors start flashing. It does make me think I won't have to look to the side real quick but that habit may be a good one to keep. I got $24,000 trade on the '09. They first offered $21,900 as their wishful thinking. I got them down on the '12 and up on the '09. And with the better fnancing it was a win for me. They also did the tint for me and I stripped the accessories off the '09 for the '12.

Congrats!!! I wanted a silver SH-AWD, but the dealer only 3 black/black ones on the lot, and couldn't find one in the state that he could get. I got one of the black/black ones he had, and now need a little window tint, as well.
