Need some info concerning torque converter update

So I'm a little ticked off. I called two different stealerships concerning the computer update/fluid replacement on my 2010 tl. The first dealer told me they would update the comp. and change out 3.5 - 4 quarts of fluid. The second dealer told me they would have to flush the trans out completely which would require 16 quarts of fluid on top of the comp update! Can someone please inform me of what they are actually supppsed to be doing since I can get a straight answer from these knuckleheads. It would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!
