ON the Navigation unit, the jog with wheel that allows you to select options on screen...This would be my second one installed because it gets stiff after time. Does anyone know a cheaper more simple fix for this?
Some sort of spray or lube? I notice when Im cleaning my dash, if ANY liquid that cleans dashes get in there its super easy to turn for abot. day the back to stiff turning. Any info or input would be greatly appreciated. Here is the part im talking about (see diagram)

You can use some gear grease made for plastic material. if you know how to take it apart, you might check to see if there’s some kind of build up underneath or around it. The base model faceplate and buttons is pretty easy to take out. I doubt the Navi radio is that big of a difference

thanks! I didnt feel like taking it apart so I bought small spray can of WD40 with the straw...pulled the rubber from the plastic as much as possible and did a few squirts around....its so smooth I can barely feel it clock. Makes ZERO sound....LOVE IT.
