My third TL
My third TL
Hello everyone.
Just like to introduce myself. Just picked up a 2010 WDP/blk sh awd and tech. I've had an 01 and an 05 which I had alot of luck with. After test driving everything under the sun including M5, E550 and the new Infiniti M...I concluded that the new TL is a great bang for the buck.
I did not include the TL to my wish list due to the questionable look. The drive won my over and I now embrace the beak.

Congrats and welcome.
I have to ask... you test drove an M5 and you still got the TL? Really? I mean I'm the first one to say that spending crazy amounts on a depreciating assets is a poor financial decision, but.... it's a V10.

I know.... how was I able to walk away from a V10?The truth is, I'm a very frugal guy. My friends think I can squeeze 3 nickels out of a dime. It all boils down to reliability, affordability, performance, fit and finish, fuel consumption, re-sale value and looks. I've been very fortunate to be able to switch out as many cars as I like in the past 6 years. Now with a new baby, everything decision in life will have to be carefully examined. The TL is a perfect fit. Saving the extra $20K+ makes me even happier.
Now lets see if I know how to post up some pics.

SebringSilver.... Do you know what year, mileage and condition M5 I was looking at?

Docboy,
The TL is a great car, but the Nsx is a total blast to drive. The belt line is like no other cars. The sound of the engine is right behind your ears. No radio needed when driving. The handling is crisp and love the twisties.
I'm asian, so driving the TL is like eating rice everyday. It's a must in my diet. The Nsx is like a huge slice of chocolate cake that you can't stop eating. I smile everytime I open my garage.
The M5 is a monster and it sounds like a monster at idle. It's just a bit too much car for me. I cannot imagine picking up my clients in that car with the engine rumbling. The auto was also very jerky. I would love to own an M5 due to the fact that BMW will no longer have the V10 for the next gen. It just didn't fit my everyday need for now.
I've driven and owned many cars thus far, but the nsx is like a well fitted glove. It's like having a best friend that you never argue with or marrying the right person for life. Can you tell how much I love the car?

We call the Rx our beater mommy mobile.
Thanks for all the kind words and welcome. Just got back from meetings with clients and guess what???? I got lots of compliments on how nice it is. At a business convention yesterday many people stopped and examined the car while trying to park. What they think may be interesting.
I truely enjoy this new car. The sport mode is significantly smoother and next to no lag time. Anyone else feel the same?
