I installed them Saturday and the new (crosstour) ones look great; although the change is subtle and unless you look, most likly wont notice. Here are some pics:

Edit: I'll take a new front pic of the wipers although I don't think I have an old one with my mods for comparison.

Are these Crosstour wipers a two piece design (a rigid part and a rubber refill) or a single piece design (non-replaceable rubber refill) ?

Might just be my imagine but Treblig would you confirm that the crosstour wipers out perform the stockies? I recently changed the rubber on the stockies (12/11) and although I've barely used them, I feel as if the crosstours wipe more uniformly and doesnt leave streaks.

It has been raining quite a bit in Chicago, and I'm rather annoyed with the stock wipers. They clean just fine, but man, they make lots of noises like annoying kids wearing rubbery slippers purposely squishing around on tiled floors! =)
Since the Crosstour OE wipers are basically the same regular spring tensioned wipers with spoiler overlays, I suspect the noise will still be present, even if it performs better in speed. I think I'm going to stick with the Bosch ICON. Or one of the Bosch quiet spring tensioned wipers if it fits under the spoiler overlays.
Thanks for taking the pictures!
And speaking of wipers... In every car I've ever owned, the driver side wiper at its peak motion is always close and parallel to the edge of the windshield trim. But I've noticed that on my TL it is not so. And because of that, with lots of rain and while I'm driving lower speed like 20-35 mph, when the wiper starts returning, the wind channel caused by the windshield edge and wiper blade's V-shaped gap causes the water to get pulled quite far into my view. That's quite bothersome. Anybody else has that problem? I've attached a pic of how it is not parallel...
