What is a moonroof visor? Will it make the moonroof quieter when open?

it helps keep the wind noise down. also keeps the sun out of my eyes when roof is open. can't find one.

It makes the moonroof quieter too I have found. You should give it a try especially if you think your moonroof is louder

Moonroof visors are ugly! ....seen them on the old Maximas and Saabs....in my opinion, that's where they belong.

I don't know if they're ugly or not, but all of my Audis, going back about 14 years, had a little pop-up plastic piece that was subtle but made the moonroof very quiet. The TL has the noisiest sun/moonroof of any car I've ever owned, going back to my first moonroof in 1987. I'd try a visor, just to make the moonroof usable.

i guess to each his/her own. i have them on my CL and i like it. the looks do not bother me. the benefit of having them outweighs any negative appearance, if any. so does anyone know where i can purchase one?

The 4th gen TL doesn't have moon roof visor specifically designed for it yet, at least not from Acura, but you could probably buy the one for the RL and it should fit just fine. You can get one from any of the vendors on ebay, your dealer, or try www.hondacuraworld.com. Good luck, and post some pics if you get it.

I have to agree with the other guys, I don't think moonfoof visors would look good on TL's. I have always had them on my other vehicles, a 1992 & 2003 Maxima and my 1997 4Runner.
I'm not putting one on this car. I did find one for sale on E-Bay if your interested.
