So I got my 2009 TL SH-AWD less than a year ago and am finally getting around to making some modifications to it. I love it like my baby so I'm moving slow as this is officially the first car that I can call my own and I am also very new at this. Starting off, I've simply done some simple bulb swaps to some LEDs that I purchased off this great site ijdmtoy.com (license plates and reverse lights are the ones I've switched so far...thinking about doing the parking lights as well)

I was wondering what other kinds of modifications have been done for both visual and performance purposes that are popular. Just trying to get some ideas for the next step in my car's evolution. I was thinking about maybe putting on some carbon fiber trim and also changing the rims. All suggestions would be much appreciated and welcome! Happy to have joined the AcuraZine community!

A new set of wheels and a nice drop will really set it off. That's what I'm doing next after some more research and more $$$. Also don't do the carbon fiber wrap stuff. You got a TL now, not some .

But as for other ideas of both visual and performance mods. Here's a few:

I think a lip kit is a most for the 4G but it's a little pricey. Tint is always good to have. Keeps the car cooler inside and protects the interior.

In terms of performance mods, tire is the #1 priority.

The OEM tires are crappy in performance, even on the AWD Advance trim.

Nothing beats the road handling improvement for a set of super-sticky summer maximum performance tires.
