Might be a dumb question..
But last night i went to clean my engine bay and top off some fluids.. i looked around but i couldn't find the power steering reservoir.. does our car not come with one? shouldnt it be right next to the brake fluid reservoir?
btw its a 2010 fwd..

Careful with topping off fluids now.... ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Brake/Trans/Power steering are closed loop systems, meaning you don't want to ADD fluid. If you're missing fluid, there's a leak, or in the common case of the brakes, the fluid is in the pots in the caliper because the pad wear requires it to be there to make contact.
In the case of the TL, your power steering is electric, not hydraulic. You're not overlooking anything.

i opened op my brake fluid reservoir and i saw that it was empty.. well from a top view i couldn't see any fluid.. so i topped it off to where it was filled to the recommended line.. is that ok?

It's okay until you go to do the brakes. You'll have to compress the calipers to allow clearance for the new pads, which sends the fluid back up to the reservoir (and gushing over the sides if there's too much in there like there is now).
Using the bleeder valves on each caliper, you can bleed the fluid off into a catch can without getting air into the system (which is what you don't want) - when it's time to do the brakes (or just let whoever is doing them know that there's too much fluid in there).
Brake fluid will eat up painted finishes (rims, calipers, body panels) - so it's one to be careful with.

If the brake fluid goes low, and there isn't a leak in the brake system anywhere.
It is likely that you'll need to change the brake pads soon.
