I'm currently looking at 2012 TL in Galaxy Grey. Thinking about trading in my Honda Element and I have few questions.
I have a lot of mods on my E but really only plan on putting some wheels if I get the TL. Can 20s fit on it?? What issues will I run into?? I'd love to get Bags but that's not in the budget. So which lowering springs give the lowest drop?? Coilovers would be an option as well so what are guys running and pros and cons of what you have seen in the past or personal experience. Anything in general I should be on the look out when I go back on Monday to test drive the TL. Oh and I love visuals!!

Yes 20's run but keep in mind our cars have a 5x120 bolt pattern which isn't too common for Japanese cars. If you're an AWD model, I'd recommend against getting staggered wheels but you'll find most sets out there used will be staggered (I think a lot of BMW 5 series use similar sizing). Just figure out the clearance and how wide you want. If you're trying to find the lowest spring, I'd skip right to coils since the stock strut will probably not hold for anything more than a year. You can always find a good set of coils for a grand or under now a days.

If you search/look through the tires/wheels section, you will find tons of great info.

Let us know when settle on what suspension you want. We are having great pricing on Tein products right now, and we sell our very own XLR8 ISC coilovers that are a fantastic bang for your buck. They feature 32 way adjustable damping, independent ride height adjustment, and aluminum upper mounts.
