My new 2010 tl sh-awd has a firm lump under the leather on the back of the passenger seat about midway up, towards the centerline ( on the back, not the side bolsters). It can be felt when sitting in the seat or by running your fingers over the seat in this area. I brought it to the dealer today and they intend to take the seat apart and replace the cushion after they get the parts. Could this be the passenger airbag sensor (not the one for the weight of the passenger, but for the passenger's position in the seat)? I have scoured the forum archives and the internet in general, but cannot find a seat diagram. Any thoughts? Thanks for all replies.

The culprit was a connector on the foam seatback which was replaced and covered with a small amount of foam insulation.
