Low beam replace

Low beam replace
I look at the manual for how to replace high beam and see if I can use that to replace HID low beam.
Unfortunately, the low beam bulb is located too far inside to be reached. Other than removing bumper any other trick to reach it?

I've been able to replace the fog lights beams by myself without jacking up the car or removing the front bumper. I just removed the pesky clips and the 10 mm bolts underneath the car and removed the plastic trim pieces.
To replace the low beams, is the process going to be the same? Can I still access the low beams in the same manner I accessed the fog light bulbs? Will I have to remove any other parts of the car?
I'm planning to get some Philips Ultinon Flash White 6000K D2S bulbs.

you can do it without removing the bumper. it's complicated, but after doing it 2-3x, you get the hang of it....
you removed some of the plastic clips and bolts on the fender lining. turn the wheel all the way in the direction opposite to the side you want to do first.
Grab a flashlight, and peer in there ... look at the round plastic cover
3G's have a screw in the cover, that is a torque style screw. real PITA.... 4G's dont have a screw.
twist the cover, remove it. you will see the ballast on the bulb, twist and remove.
then push the two metal prongs holding the bulb forwards and outward. then remove the bulb slowly. note which way it came out (support filament outside the bulb, towards the bottom of the car).
replace the bulb. replace the metal springs. reconnect the ballast, and re-cover the assembly.
and btw, you have to do this all blindly LOL.... its impossible to see in the fender lining with your arm wedged in it...
I'd rather take the bumper off.. the extra 20 minutes, is worth saving all the scratches and cuts on your forearm.
ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE YOU DISASSEMBLE THE HID COVER AND ASSEMBLY. remember to keep your radio/navi code handy

Wow, sounds pretty tough to do with the front bumper on. Since I'm going to be getting HID fog lights installed, which will require the front bumper to be removed, I'll get the low beams done at the same time. Thanks for the response!
