Looking at 4G TL's

Looking at certified pre-owned 09-11 TL's what problems and prices should I be looking for..... I currently have an 05 base TL and I want to upgrade to either an Type SH-AWD or fwd with navi. I would prefer a 6 speed stick in white or dark mayan bronze metalic with both having umber interior. But I need info on the new body style.... What issues should I be looking out for.

You should address those questions in the 4g section bud.

I would wait for the '5G' to come out next year.

If it is the TL model you're referring to, Acura has not signaled it's intention to shorten the current 4G TL model-cycle from a 5-year to a 4-year. As a result, no 5G TL is expected to come out next year.

And why should the OP wait? There are no significant issues on the 4G. Is it because you don't like the styling of the 4G?

As mentioned, the 5G may not be out until '13 for the '14 year model anyway as Honda/Acura usually has a 5 year run on each gen.

As for the 4G TL, a stick is already available on the MY 2009, 2010, and 2012.

Just bought our first Acura TL 09 and we were able to pick it up for 30k with 1 20k miles and tech package. Excellent condition. Jump in with confidence!

45,000 miles on mine, and it's been completely, solidly reliable. Just scheduled maintenance...that's all.

And I don't exactly baby mine.

Car is a 2010 TL 6-6 SH-AWD. A delight to drive almost all of the time, and I couldn't recommend it more highly.

2010 and 2011 model years for 4G, and 2012 for 4GA.

The 2010 6-6 began showing up in the Fall of 2009, but they were all 2010 models.

The Fall of 2008 through the Fall of 2009 was an agonizing wait for me, while they began production of the 2010 6-6.
