License plate plugs on '12 bumper?

got my 12 graphite luster base model a couple weeks back and car came with front license plate installed, but i went back and requested the plugs and they gave me these 2 plugs that dont have a hole to sit into (since they directly screwed into the bumper). am i missing something?

well your fucked.. they drilled it into your bumper.

i dont think the 2012 have a license holes....

your better off just putting the plates back on how it originally came when they delivered the car to you.. or else it will look shitty..

unless you can have them give you a new bumper

A friend of mine with an IS250 went to OSH and bought a plug that can fit into the drilled hole. His car is black so it wasnt too noticeable. Kinda sucks that they took out the plugs.

bumperplugs.com has exactly what you need.

I ordered a set for my car.. a 2009 TL... and unfortunately for ME.. the 2009 bumper has round cutouts..and those plugs YOU have are what you need on a 2009-2011 bumper.

they must have changed how the plate attaches on 2012+ models..and just drilled into it... so the plug YOU hae won't work on YOUR car..but the bumperplugs.com parts are meant for your little screw holes..

they are $24.99 and are perfect. I'd send you mine excpet mine are WDP...

now I have to order OEM plugs.and they are like $27.99 EACH..for those little tiny plugs@!!! crazy
