which wires do you splice with the load equalizer? Which colors?

in other words, I need to splice the Turn signal wire, and the ground... Which ones are they in color? Does anyone have a schematic?

Blue and Black... trial and error.

pics as promised...

OK, I installed the V-LEDs Switchbacks 6000K and the V-LEDs H11 LED 6000K Fog with the load equalizers. No Hyper Flashing. My V-LED HID 6000K bulb was backordered... shipped yesterday. I'll install that next week, matching all 3 bulbs. DRLs/High Beam is my next project after that. Not sure what look I want for that yet. I'll do the license plate next, and the vanity bulbs too.

I love the look so far, and I can't wait for the HIDs to get here. Great customer service from V-LEDS.COM

did you need the load equalizers on the switchbacks or just the fog lights? I am looking to do this to my car but dont want to splice into my cars wires. I did the license plate, trunk light and the " puddle" lights all with 6k lights- they look really nice, and the vanity i did with the 5k - looks nice! VLEDS are awesome!

You'll need the load equalizers for the turn signals, not the fog lights.

The fog lights are just plug and play.

The turns are too... but without the load equalizers you will have really fast blinking... hyper flashing. Blink rate is normal once the load equalizers are installed.

Have you had any issues with your switchbacks? I mean with the fuses blowing or anything? I saw some posts about LEDs causing issues with the ignition and what not...have you had any of these issues?

i havent had any issues with the fuses or anything but if you have them on for A long drive or something they trip out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HERfHwVj2zg this is what mine do. you can see the white comes back too early so it flickers a bit.

I have had mine on for several months now. I have them on all the time and have had no issues at all. I have no hyper-flashing and they transition between the two colors flawlessly.

Could the quality of the bulb be an issue?

So, just to confirm, it is:
Driver Side: Blue & Black
and then for the other side: Green & Black

Correct, Driver side Blue/Black, Passenger Side Green/ Black

And I drove 6 hours last week on the highway nonstop (1 gas stop) and back the next day, 6 hours again, and no problems what so ever with the LEDs.

I finally installed the switchbacks today and they are working PERFECT. Drove for about 2 hours with NO issues.
Thanks for the help!

TLNV, what do you mean but they transition between the two colors? Sorry for the noob question, I havent had a chance to physically look, I am sitting in Afghanistan right now and really want to replace my switchbacks, fogs and high beams with the 6k's. Everything seems to be easy except the switchbacks, I am trying to figure it all out before I buy everything, thanks.

What up spider. I have the same switchback bulbs from Vleds but when I tried to install the resistors they still hyper flashed anyway so I just took off the resistors and let it hyper flash. Is there a way you can get a picture of the resistors with the wiring? Maybe I wired something wrong?

I was wondering about the install of the resistors as well. @TLNV, nevermind on that question, I found the answer and now feel like a real noob, "switchback" it answers itself.

My guess is that your clips, which snaps and cuts thru the rubber of the wires, did not go thru the rubber, thus your wiring is incomplete.

Make sure you remove the rubber insulation around your stock wires before using these clips. Once you make the connections, then use electrical tape to insulate, making sure the clips don't open by accident.

It's been months now that I have these on, and still no issues. Looks great.

As for the High Beams, I left the stock one on. It's too complex and expensive to swap those.

Hm maybe. I'm thinking that I got the wiring mixed up. Vleds didn't really help at the time either cause they never e-mailed me back
