I recently bought a CPO TL SH-AWD. I want to switch to LEDs but here are a few questions.

1) the stock overhead done lights front and rear seem fairly white/bright. Are they LED stock? Are any of you swapping these out or just leaving them? If you swap them - what are you putting in?

2). I had some old LED lights from my last car , RL, and moved a few to the door puddle lights ad license plate. The ones I used are from ijdmtoy and honestly never seed that bright to me. They are 360 degree led.. And I wonder if a bulb would be better for these applications that is more focused in one direction? I just want the license plate bulbs to shine down... What bulbs are you using here? Mine work but don't seem very bright.

3) I've seen a thread here in switchbacks fr the front turn Donald. That looks cool. Are there any downsides or problems with putting these on te car? Those of you who have done them - do they work well?

why can't people just chime in and talk about their lights instead of this "why don't you search" BS...

i know I can search around for it... it's also fun to start a new discussion... i found a threat about the switchbacks.... and also int hat thread were peopel say ing they worked great and other people that looked like they were splicing $hit and having problems...

if you have successfully installed LEDS and /or switchbacks.. post up your observations.. if you just wnat to tell me to search for $hit... thanks for nothing.

there are threads with other peoples observation... you just gotta look for it..

rather to wait for someone to possibly answer you, go look for the thread that already has the answer..

This will help http://www.sylvania.com/en-us/applic...n.aspx#fldYear . It shows you the type of bulbs that are used in the RL and you can see if they will also fit in the TL.

1.The overhead lights are stock LED no need to change it.
2. 6K WHITE 4 LED 2W HIGH POWER BULBS 194 168 158
3. Haven't done this. I usually get the LED from VLED they have good quality

I'll leave my overheads alone... that was my gut impression anyway since they looked very white like LEDs...

I have some SMDs in my licsen plate lights now, but they honestly dont' look very bright... i'll see if VLED or ijdmtoy have some brighter ones.

the swtichbacks for the turn signals look nice... if i get them, i'll upload some pics.
