Where can I buy an LED bulb (white color, like the interior lights) for the inside of the trunk on a 4G TL?

Also, what size is the bulb?

 

so i found this website/company located in hong kong. they sell random gadgets but i also found leds for cars. the trunk uses the de3022 bulb and the license lpate and doors use 168(aka t10)

Dj is the trunk bulb any brighter? If so I'll have to pick on up for 2.84!

 

I've ordered from meritline several times for HDMI and computer cables...didn't realize they were in Hong Kong.

For the interior trunk light, how many bulbs do we need? Also, does the color of the trunk LED match the color of the interior map lights?

Same question for the 168 bulbs. Do the colors of the 168 bulbs match the interior map lights?

Final question: How is the fitment of the meritline 168 bulbs in the front door? I understand that some of the Ebay 168 bulbs others have bought are a little big and may not fit into the tiny housing very easily.

 

their HQ is in california but most things ship from Hong Kong

for the trunk you will only need one bulb. the color on these bulbs is close to 6k maybe a little whiter, to me it seems like these leds have a blueish tint to them compared to the factory leds.

the 168 bulb is the same exact color as the trunk bulb. in terms of fitment there is a small metal tab in the bulb housing and you may have to pry it up just to get the bulb to sit properly. i remember reading this somewhere but i didnt do this for my car. if you are looking for something bright you may consider some of the flank style leds that they have.

 

I'm looking at v-leds.com for the Festoon Style bulb (31mm x 10mm) for the trunk. I can't seem to find one that fits. Anybody have a link? (Prefer 5000K color temp).

 

V-Leds 3175 festoon bulb has the dimensions 31mm x 10mm. I spoke with a guy at V-Leds who said that he was certain their 3022 bulb would fit but wasn't sure if the 3175 would fit as the dimension may sometime vary a little. I'm looking a trunk replacement bulb myself and would prefer the 3175 because I prefer its 5k white light versus the 3022 6k white (bluish) light.

 

got mine from ebay. i bought the white strip led. its 24 inches and really bright when i open the trunk.
