Just a quick rant...

I have been a member of several different very large forums over the years. Although I am new to the Acura world I am perplexed how the for sale section of Acurazine is setup. On the other forums the for sale sections were setup organized by the different generations of the vehicles and in some cases by model and even further by having a separate section for wheels and tires only and again by gen or model.

This for very obvious reasons made it very easy for every one to post and search for items (that were for the vehicles only) in their respective areas thus reducing the staggering amount of clutter (read, having to sift through several generations of FS: to find something that pertained to what you might be looking for.

Example. I recently posted some items for sale in the "Black Market" section. I was stunned that 95+% of the items in there were for previous 1st gen, 2nd gen and 3rd gen, mostly of the car variety. I literally spent more than an hour going through it page by page trying to find anything close to the 07-09 MDX. I understand that you can use the search function, however not everyone lists their items correctly.

Now before you jump me on that one, I know that if they want to sell their item then they should try to list it in a way that will be easily search-able.

My point is, that in one day, my one post for an 07-09 MDX was buried under at least 50-60 other posts for earlier gen's and misc garbage, ie: xboxes etc. And if not for bumping, it would have been several pages in after just one day.

I am sure that it has been brought up in the past but if not here I go.

Why can't there be a "for sale" area under each gen and model. The TL section of this forum is separated into each generation and within that different sections for different topics, such as wheels and suspensions, electronics etc.

I am not understanding why it would be so hard to also add in a for sale section under the wheels and suspensions and perhaps a for sale section for everything else on the car.

Fourth Generation TL (2009+)

This keeps all for sale items for say the 4G's within their own section, 3G's in their section and so on thus making it infinitely easier to sell your items and to also look for something you are wanting to buy.

^^ I'll agree with you on that one. Probably too over kill to have a FS section in each subsection. But having an FS section under each 4th Gen/3rd Gen, etc, etc, would make the searching helpful.
I had my old tires which I was able to sell, but I don't know if it's from the BM listing or the signature I had for like 4 months.

It would be nice to search on just parts/items that would fit my 4G, instead of looking thru a crap load of other posts.

I totally agree with the thought of having a FS section for each gen. Would make buying and selling much easier.

This is very true. I had to go deep into the for sale section to find my 19's from Ron jon on the for sale section. The seller said it was for the RL, TL and RDX. If the seller was able to post it in the sections i'm sure I wouldn't have got it since many member at the time were looking for 19's. I think each section should have its own for sale section or what going to happen is every couple of hours someone selling an iphone or computer will keep bumping their post and your post goes to the bottom.
