How to remove clothing dye from leather seats?

I was walking to my car when it was raining pretty hard so my hoodie was pretty wet. I drove home in about 10min and when i got out noticed that the hoodies dye transffered to the leather seat. Tryed armorall leather cleaner and lexol and it did not remove it.

any suggestions?

Try Woolite. A 1 to 5 part Woolite to distilled water mixture. Works wonders.

I couldnt find a woolite at the store that said "original" on it

I found 3:

woolite complete
woolite everyday

which one would work or is the same as " original" ?

Original is tough to find. I use Delicate Care and have good luck.

My suggestion is that you use an automotive leather cleaner product. I wouldn't risk damaging the leather with anything but a product designed for automotive leather. There are a ton of leather cleaner products out there, you should be able to find something at a local department store that carries detailing products.

I use lexol leather cleaner/conditioner to keep my seats clean and looking new, works really well. I also have a meguairs product that does the same and worked great on ebony but leaves an odd finish on umber so I don't use it. I also have the equivalent mothers product but have yet to try it on umber.

I use this stuff and the step 1 cleaner had no problems getting very old blue jean stains (from previous owner) out.
