How much do you pay for insurance?

Just curious, how much the average person pays for a 2009-2010 TL.

I was quoted $100 a month for a new 2010 base TL. 26 year old single male.

Only a small portion of your insurance cost is based on the car you drive. Most of it is based on where you live and your own personal driving record. When I moved 3 towns over my insurance dropped about 400/year based entirely on where I lived.

^^^True, it helps being 43, married and never in 27 years of driving, having a ticket or accident.

Being in the military I can vouch how location makes a difference. I have two separate policies. 05 Lincoln LS6 in Louisiana is $120/month and my 07 TL-S in Georgia is $66/month both with a $200 deductible.

There are too many variables to gauge a specific rate.
Each individual and their circumstances reflect their rates.

With that being said, for my 3rd gen I pay $1000/6 months.

Suburbs in N Cal. Married old guy. Clean record. $600 / year. Although chances of getting a ticket since getting my new TL have gone up a lot. It's fun to have horse power again....hehe

...and what insurance company. I think there's a big difference between outfits like Geico or Progressive vs. State Farm, All State, etc.

45, married...no ticks since 1985. Only accident in 1990.

$1600 per year for the Yukon and the TL in NJ.

Those details DO matter.
