I just installed some chrome orange bulbs on mine. First you have to take out those knobs that point outwards. Then remove the big plastic piece that holds the two side carpeted pieces. Once you can peel it back there are 3 tall screws that hold the back light in place. I think they are a size 8 or you can use a star head screwdriver. After taking them out just knock it a bit till the housing comes loose. Then you can change all the lights you want.

Thanks for the info, I remove the big plastic thing and the small one (with the minus screw head) I peel it out only to see a wire harness and dug my hand in the hole trying to find light bulbs but non luck ....

you should see three long screws that can be unscrewed using a Phillips (+) screwdriver or a wrench. After you remove these the taillight will be free just push the tail light off and then you will have access. you will have to use some force when removing the taillight assembly. good luck!

I figured it out. the little black trim to the inside of the tail light is held on with two rivet type plastic clips. you just pry on it from the bottom and it snapt out. that reveals two screws on the front. inside the trunk, behind each access door on teh side of the trunk are thin bolts.. those need to be undone too. then the whole tail light slides out and you gain access to the bulbs.
once i figured out one side, the other side took literally 5 min.
be careful.. the bottom side of hte tail light has rough clips on it that slide into grooves when you reinsert the tail light.. i was a bit sloppy and those rough edges scuffed by paint.. so now i have some minor scuffs I need to touch up.. pissed me off!
overall.. the reverse led install isprobably easier than the license plate bulbs!
but the bulbs themselves costs 2-3x as much! much bigger. i'll snap pics tonight in the dark...
