there are many methods and all work.
choose which one is easiest for you/tools available.
Method 1
-blow dryer/hair dryer/heatgun
-fishing line.
-goo gone/adhesive remover/polish and buffing machine
heat the emblems and then use fishing line, saw off the glue behind the emblems.
use adhesive remover/wax/ to remove extra stuck on adhesive
Method 2
-luke warm to boiling water.
-fishing like/fingers
-adhesive remover.
Pour warm to hot water over emblems. then use fingers/fishing line to get them off.
use adhesive remover to clean any remaining residue

Step 1: Take a hair dryer and heat up the badge - not too much before trying step 2.
Step 2: Take some dental floss and carefully wiggle it behind the badge. If it won't budge - use a little more heat.
Step 3: Once the badge is off use some polish/wash for some cleanup of the remaining glue. There won't be that much glue to remove, just make sure you detail the trunk area well.

Seriously though, I used fishing line as dental floss seemed to break. No need for a blow dryer/heat gun - just wait for a warmer sunny day. It only takes a few minutes start to finish.

All of these methods work. I've actually removed dealer badges just by being careful and pulling them off slowly but gently.
