Some time, a thick thread or plastic car and heat. Warm day or heat gun helps...

there are many methods and all work.
choose which one is easiest for you/tools available.

Method 1
-blow dryer/hair dryer/heatgun
-fishing line.
-goo gone/adhesive remover/polish and buffing machine
heat the emblems and then use fishing line, saw off the glue behind the emblems.
use adhesive remover/wax/ to remove extra stuck on adhesive

Method 2
-luke warm to boiling water.
-fishing like/fingers
-adhesive remover.
Pour warm to hot water over emblems. then use fingers/fishing line to get them off.
use adhesive remover to clean any remaining residue

Step 1: Take a hair dryer and heat up the badge - not too much before trying step 2.

Step 2: Take some dental floss and carefully wiggle it behind the badge. If it won't budge - use a little more heat.

Step 3: Once the badge is off use some polish/wash for some cleanup of the remaining glue. There won't be that much glue to remove, just make sure you detail the trunk area well.

The method I used was the search function...

Seriously though, I used fishing line as dental floss seemed to break. No need for a blow dryer/heat gun - just wait for a warmer sunny day. It only takes a few minutes start to finish.

All of these methods work. I've actually removed dealer badges just by being careful and pulling them off slowly but gently.

I searched but could not find a 4G specific DIY on how to remove the trunk "A" badge. Anyone know how? Or care to do a brief write up?

Nooo, I'm too classy for all that euro spec in America nonsense . I got bored and ordered black chrome "A"s. After I change out the silver/chrome trim (front & back) peices with color matched ones, I'll replace the standard silver badges as well.

I found that a good & sharp chisel as well as a rubber mallet to be quite effective at removing unwanted badgers!

You'd need more than just a chisel and a hammer to take out a badger, they're wolves in sheeps clothing!

I took mine to the dealer and asked my sales lady if they could do it and she sent it to the body shop.
