i have been reading the threads for changing the whole unit. however i want to know how you can change the bulb? do you need to do the same process? or do you snap them in and out?

step by step instructions will be appreciated

 

Check your owners manual - it's much easier than you think.

Basically, the easiest way is to turn your wheel to the right so that the driver side tire is pointed inward. Unscrew and pop out the snaps holding in the wheel well. Peel that back, and you can stick your arm in to reach the side marker. Twist the back of the electrical contact going to the sidemarker and pull it towards you.

Then, just pull out the old bulb and pop in the new one. I changed mine to orange led's and it only took a couple of minutes.
