Unhappy Honestly, I miss my '13 TSX

We all make mistake. For me, I think giving up my TSX for this '14 TL (AWD-Adv) will be one up there.

Don't get me wrong about the TL, its a lot better than TSX in terms of luxury and tech. But for everyday driving? This TL is too much of a car, the TSX is just perfect for daily use when you are alone in the car and weaving thru traffic like need for speed video game

Right now Im stuck with it.

I just switched to TL from Accord... world of difference. No such thing as too much car IMO.

Stop weaving in and out of traffic and drive like a responsible adult, it's not just you out there on the road.

i know what you mean, I guess it's all about attitude. The money and signatures have already been exchanged, so make the best of it! Although it may not be as nimble, I'm sure you can capitalize on the more positive aspects of your decision.

I weave pretty regularly in my TL and find since I lowered it I feel much more attached to the road and my wheels. Just my two cents.

Statements like those I believe only apply to driving an S class or similar vehicles, those are for being chauffeured in.

I went from a '10 TSX V6 that I loved to a '12 TL Advance. Thought I might miss my TSX. I did for about 30 minutes. After that it was almost as if I never even remembered it. Love my TL so much more.

I kept my 04 6spd TSX as my daily. Only take the TL out on the weekends. No complaints here except I parted out my TSX which was my show car. But, it all went to my TL. Just waiting for one last part and it'll be put together.

I had a TSX as a loaner when my TL was in for service....
After driving it for couple of days.....I was so happy to get my TL back....
I would never buy TSX after driving a TL....

I had some buyers remorse when I got my TL too. I went from a 400+ HP 300 SRT8 to my fwd TL. It took a few months for me to get attached. I still miss my old car but I wouldn't trade back if it was offered. Try looking at the positive aspects, there are a lot of good things about the TL. Also some coilovers will help with the weaving in and out.

Don't get me wrong, I love my TL, but some things about it make me laugh...like the fact that my wife's 2010 Cobalt has less road noise and rattles. I used to have a 2005 TSX that I felt overall had better build quality than my 2012 TL. My next car is not likely to be an Acura but I'll probably hang onto my TL for at least a 3 more years since it's very cheap to maintain and reliable.

From someone who has both a '12 TSX Sportwagon and a '12 TL Advance I would have to say I agree with OP.

The TSX is just seems more sporty and easy to get around. The TSX gets about double the mileage that the TL does also so in day-to-day driving the TSX would be a choice for me for a daily driver.

Now the TL, this is a road car, if we are going on a trip or an extended drive the TL is the way to go. Just a better car all around and much more comfortable for the long hauls. We go to Cleve, Pgh & Columbus on a regular basis and the TL is the car of choice for 4 to 5 hrs on the road at a time.

And lastly (save the flames) the TL is in NO way a sports car, not sporty doesn't handle sporty and the only saving grace is the SH-AWD that makes it handle all road conditions with ease. I do love my TL but if I had it to do over again, I like OP would have went with two TSX's but they didn't offer the AWD option in the TSX along with 6spd, and other tech found in my TL. The TSX is an upmarket Accord (I've driven them for the better part of 20 years) and I always did like my Accords.

Acura is way behind in most areas with luxury cars, and way behind most marks in performance. This is the Acura we all came to know and love and with the TLX it just cements that with me. I have 8/120 on both cars so they were being purchased for the long haul instead of my normal 3yr cycle so I have many years to decide on another brand or Acura will finally get back to the sport/performance/luxury that the brand was built on.

And one more.... WHERE is the COUPE? Why no wagon or 5 door? When most luxury brands are giving even more focus to these two Acura has abandoned these. If I had it to do over, I would still be driving my '09 Accord HFP coupe and my '10 CRV EX-L and would still have the $25k price difference in my pocket.

Don't worry. The car is new and you're simply not familiar with it.

The AWD TL is a much superior car than the FWD TSX, in terms of handling and speed.

Very soon, after you have familiarized and have explored the handling limits of your AWD TL, not only can you weave thru traffic on a straight road, you can even weave thru traffic on curvy, winding, and slippery roads too.

But don't forget to replace the crappy OEM tires with something of more high performance.

I had an '09 TSX 6MT and I understand where you're coming from... but overall fit and finish on the TL, and overall value/ROI on TL is WAAAAY better.

Oh... and +1 to everyone talking about you not being the only one on the road!
