high MPG on 2012 TL FWD

On my trip back from houston to dallas, avg speed 72mph

At 65-70mph, it got around 34-35mpg, once the speed is 75-80, it start to drops to 32. Only performance mod was the K&N Intake.

Great!! I've repeatably obtained 30.0 to 30.5 in my AWD (interstate @ 75-80 mph) so your number is reasonable. Who needs a Civic?

Well, since the Civic gets better than that regularly I think that's why people buy them...

My Mazda3's average was 35mpg over two years and 55k miles of ownership.

The TL's is 24mpg over 1 year and 33k miles...

My 2012 AWD AT is getting 17.3 and I don't drive aggressively, although they're mostly city miles.

How are you guys getting such great mpg's??

Highway driving for more than 20+ miles. I commute a bit and tend to get between 24.2MPG Average for city and highway and around 30 on the highway for the 100+ mile hauls.
