High Beam recommendations
I apologize in advance for asking this question, but I was unable to find anything sufficient using the search. I need to replace the high beams on my wifes '09 TL and would like to hear some recommendations. I used her car the other night and when I switched them on, I could barely see light. Headlamp lenses were clean, also.
Thank you!!
Thank you!!

Check and make sure the headlights are aimed properly first. I noticed a big difference just getting that done. Then I went with Sylvania Silverstars. Brighter than stock, although they aren’t as white as I thought they’d be. I haven’t used LED’s for high beams so I can’t comment on those.

The inconvenient truth
My LED high beams throw a ton of light. Great dispersion too. But honestly your bulbs are probably just the originals and need replacing so going oem should be fine.

Funny story - I get flashed all the time like I have my brights on when I traveling cross state - I changed my stock HID to Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited sure they were superior to stock. I also changed my Fogs and High beams to something else - LED Morimoto kit and Osram Nightbreakers. I guess the high beams are better however not that much better. I was surprised how crappy the bulbs look after a few years. I will be thankful when someone comes up with a quick kit to change out the the highbeams to a projector HID. When replacing the Highbeams when you pull out the High beam bulb not the orientation of the tabs it will save time. You cannot see the slot - minus using a cellphone camera. So notethe direction, the change will take a few minutes.
