I have the Kaixen 6000K HID fogs. I had to upgrade my fuses to 20A. No flickering for me so far. If it does flicker, you probably also will need to install a wiring harness.

Just upgrade your headlight bulbs to Kaixen 6000K for a perfect match.

I just ordered some H11 bulbs from Hoen (Hoen Xenonmatch). Read and saw some pictures on the RDX and 1st Gen TSX forums, they seem to be pretty good. Cheaper alternative to HIDs. Guess I will find out in a couple days

I am just curious, is it absolutely necessary to take the front bumper off to add HIDs to the fogs? I haven't had a chance to look under the car to see if my meaty arms will fit.

^^ Yea, I 'm pretty sure the bumper needs to come off. You can reach in the wheelwell, but I would imagine you need more room to work.

i put HID Kit on it, you do NOT need to take the bumper off.

I just put my stock DRL bulbs back in there. I've used a lot of those fake HID bulbs in the last several years and from my experience, all of them fall far short of in terms of longevity and performance compared to stock bulbs. If you want true HID performance and look, you gotta go with the real things.

As far as bumper removal for fog HID's, it's almost a must as you need to find a proper place to install the ballasts.

Is it the Kaixen 5000K or the 6000K because on Excelerate it says that the 6000K come with a tint of blue.

Are you guys who are putting HID in the fog positions doing it because you really and truly want more low beam performance, or are you just eliminating the yellow tint of the factory fogs, in relation to the factory HID?

I installed HIDs in the fogs on Friday. After bleeding all over everything....I realized after the ballasts warmed up, the fogs were more blue than when I first installed them. I hope they last, because I am not taking the bumper off again!

I would think something like 4300K would match.
