HID fog lights

I was curious what choices were available for replacing the stock fog lights with HIDs? I do not want to do the whole ballast and wiring install, i just want to install the bulb itself so I get a nice white light output that will match the HID low beams. From what I saw most guys here did a full install with the ballasts and all the gopod stuff and Id just rather not if possible. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

well i answered part of my question. after some research it seems like there are a few bulbs i should be looking at. these include the PIAA 15211 xtreme white and the hoen h11's. the piaa's are around $70 and the hoen's around $35. does anyone know what the maon difference is between these? i know PIAA is a trusted name but are the worth the extra cash? are there any other bubls I should look at? unfortunately this mod comes at the perfect time after i got into a minor accident last week which includes me getting a new headlight, front bumper, and front right headlight . AWD is awesome but nothing helps on ice. maybe this was my sign to get my headlights done too! thanks again guys

If you are to spend $70 on just bulbs i would go with a set of real hids.. there are some companys out there that sell HIDs for pretty darn cheap. Check out DDM tuning. Having real HIDs in fog lights are amazing.

Xenon bulbs like Hoen, PIAA, Nokya or whatever, usually tend to blow out... They are like 65W Halogen bulbs, and they run way to hot to last that long

Sometimes, they blow out as quickly as 2-3 months, or a year or so

I would just shell out for an HID kit IMO

Where can one get a HID foglight kit and is it easy to install?

+1 on the "super bright xenons". I installed a pair on my previous Maxima and after 1 year they blew. Called tech support and they said "Yeah, they burn hotter so their life is shorter. A year is about right." Went back to halogens...

So, this HIDS topic is kind of new to me. If I want that halo light on all of my lights do I need to install a whole system or can I just install the bulbs? I have a 09 SHawd. I am looking to get rid of that yellow corner light and replace it with a clear one, any suggestions out there?

I have the Kaixen 6000K HID system for my fogs. Output and color are fantastic (1000X better than those cheapo blue-colored halogen bulbs), but the install was a little painful.....you have to remove the front bumper to install the bulbs and ballasts.
