Help replacing mirror

Hi all, new here. As title states, needing help replacing passenger door mirror, fiancé clipped a pole and broke the housing. Found a used one with same paint code, just wondering if the whole door panel needs to come off to replace it? Any input would be appreciated.

Yes, per the service manual. ... and the trim around the window. The service manual is posted somewhere in this 4G forum. You can find it by searching.

I hope your fiancé is "thankful" once you make the repair.
When I was married I used to look forward to when the Ex would ding or wreck her van. Good times.

I removed my door panel to replace a door lock actuator. It wasn't difficult.
It doesn't apply to your repair but once you unplug the panel switches the window can't be raised or lowered.

Thanks, I'm sure she'll thank me. Especially after having to replace the battery two weeks ago and now this. Luckily found a used mirror with the same paint code,

I replaced mine a few months ago. Super easy and yes you'll have to take the door panel off.

I actually was able to remove the broken mirror without taking the whole panel off. I just removed all the screws and popped the inner panel loose. Then you have complete access to the nuts and connector of the mirror.
