HELP, Need some opinions ASAP

Hi guys:

Well I had a 2008 NBP TL-S that was totaled in an accident, i have the insurance money to buy my next car.

Im on a very weird situation:

I'm thinking of going with a 2012 4G TL SH-AWD Graphite luster or a 370Z sport trans standard.

I totally understand that they are 2 different cars. In one you got the very sporty coupe with 335 hp and 315 of torque, just 2 doors and lacking on space. but the fun driving factor is 100% vs the TL which with the AWD is sportier, but it really doen't even get close on the fun factor, but it has the space and the luxury.

Im single, no kids, no debts. What would you do??

I say go with the 370Z then get a girlfriend then kids then trade your 370Z for a TL SH-AWD. That's what I would do.

Cheers

Get the TL. Its not cool not being able to fit people in your car. Unless you have no friends or family. If you have 2 cars owning a coupe is fine but if thats your only vehicle.....eh
A few scenarios for you.

You are at a club/bar and two women want you to take them to a hotel to have a 3 way.You have to say, Sorry my backseat is too small I will just take one of you.

You are with your buddies trying to plan a carpool to drive to a sporting event. You have to say Oh well I can't drive, only one other person will fit in my nissan

You have 2 friends or family at the airport visiting and they want you to pick them up. You have to say "Sorry can you take a shuttle? I can't fit you guys let alone luggage"

You are moving and you have to take 29 trips just to move your toiletries into the new place.

Its raining and your 315 horsepower is worthless because you cant put it to the ground.

etc etc

I wouldn't take a nissan product if it was given to me. But it's your car so get what makes you happy.

+1 - The Z would be fun, but it will only strap you down and limit what you can do. The possibility of the first scenario above alone should drive you to the SH-AWD. Murphy's Law says if you buy the Z, the first night you have it, you'll run into that dilemma.

As I post this, the vote is tied. Did you post on Z board too? If so wonder what the vote/advice was over there. I'll bet it was 80% for the Z.

What does that tell you?

Z - fun car,not practical.

TL - fun car, practical.

In terms of picking up ladies, the Z says you're self centered and trying too hard - the TL says you're successful and have class.

Im sure the Z is fun and sportier but as a daily driver I would go for the TL. I sold my V8 Audi S4 to get the TL. Although not as cool and sporty as the Audi I have not been dissapointed with my AWD TL. I'm not a spring chicken anymore but dealing with a 2 seater as my daily driver would get old fast.

Cougars dig the TL too!

Me 2, single no kids, but full of friends and I always want to ride with my friends rather than going alone (or 2) and following my friends' car (while they keep enjoying together in their MDX). hence TL can fit 5 (at least 4 comfortably)

You can make the TL more fun... but you can't make the Z classy.

I see the z as a wannabe circa 1980's Porche 944. It's ultra aggressive styling is a bit much... It's one thing to have a car that screams LOOK AT ME... and it's a Ferrari. It's another when it's a Nissan. I always get compliments on the TL as it looks a bit of a cross of a 5 series and an M37. As other posts indicated, the Acura is more about sophistication and class... and the Z is more Jersey Shore.

My opionion... get the TL and spice it up with some nice wheels and some mods (maybe drop it a bit). This way you have the luxury and class... but still some of the fun that you deserve as a young single guy.

Well guys, thanks for the advice.

I ended up buying the Z. I decided that right now i really desire the 100% fun driving of a coupe. I should've put this thread before, because i've been with this dilemma for 3 weeks. Thinking on everything.

So i'll post some pictures of everything and I appreciate your advices.
