Hey fellow TL owners. I wanted to know what the Headlight temp was in the TL? I am going to upgrade my fog lights to HID's and wanted them to match.. I was thinking both 6000k fogs and headlights, am i able to just switch out the bulbs in the headlights since they are already hids?

I find the Luminics Ultra White to be a good match

I have read some stories of people haveing wiring harness problems over times, becasue some of the bulbs out there draw more than the 55watts the TL is rated for, so be careful.

While the Luminics are not HIDs I find they match teh TL HIDs very nicely and don't nee any wiring mods.

You can get the Luminics H11 Ultra White for the fogs and the Luminics 9005 in Ultra White for the high beams and have all 3 match. No need to change out the low beam HIDs. Stocks HIDS are 4300k and the H11's and 9005's are 5150k. Very close match.

Just got finished installing my Luminics H11 Ultra White fogs. Took about and hour total and they look really nice. Did it outside today during the snow here on LI so I had some snow and wetness to deal with. Got my car about a foot inside the garage which is very small(had about 1 foot on each side to squeeze in to) and turned the wheels to get access. Was going to do them tomorrow but they came today and I could not wait. The 9005's are coming tomorrow so the high beam/DRL will be done as well. Took some pics of the install and after shots but not totally sure how to upload to this page. Will work on it. If anyone needs help PM me or ask here and I can give some tips.
