Is this a good deal for an 09 TL Tech?
I received a quote from Frankel Acura in Maryland for $34,617 for a TL Tech. This includes destination charge and dealer processing. I checked the prices that people were paying in the login section and I'm not sure if they include the destination charge and dealer processing fee (best prices there were around were around $33,300). I might be able to get Frankel down a few hundred, but I doubt $1300.
Thanks!

According to Frankel's website, they have 34 2009 TL's still in stock. There are 5 SH-AWD techs, 10 FWD techs, and the rest appear to be FWD base (as an aside, what were they thinking ordering that many base models?). My not-so-educated assessment is that it is a pretty good deal. Some of those prices in the sticky thread were from the first 4 months of the year, when there were some astounding deals to be had.
It never hurts to contact a second dealer to see what they'll offer you.

I think you can do better. I paid 33.8K + TTL for my TL tech in houston, TX this past weekend. I asked over 10 different dealers in Austin/Dallas/Houston/San Antonio and the price deltas were upwards of 2K+ so I really recommend you shop around. With that much stock and 2010s coming in really soon, I'm pretty sure they would want to move the 09s. I still think I could have done better in pricing if I waited but I was too smitten by the car and thankfully, I have no regrets!
Good Luck!

PeterMann, thanks. Based upon the numbers I was given recently for a 2010 TL SH-AWD w/Tech, you should be thrilled (not that these numbers are to be believed): $2,000 down, $869/month for 60 months! I won't name the dealer, but they've probably lost any chance of selling me a car anytime soon. Enjoy yours.
