Front Licence Plate
Could it be possible to post some picture of Acura TL with front licence plate;I removed the dealer name n front of my 2009 TL with an hair dryer and I did a mess on the paint so maybe a kind of licennce plate will hide the defect.

There are pics all over the site of cars with front license plates. Look at the photo gallery. You can't miss them.

I didn't understand what you're trying to say, what do you mean you "removed the dealer name front of my 2009 TL"? You had Acura/dealer badges on the nose of your car?

I thought you were joking at first, like the other posters I have had no idea what you were talking about. I've never seen a dealer put a logo on the front of the car. That's absurd if the dealer did that. I wouldn't leave the dealer lot until the dealer took that off. Tacky...

Welcome to the interwebs...Don't take it so personally. I have never seen anything like that before. I would ask the dealer to fix it - Or pay you a couple dollars every month for the advertising on the front of your car.

It should cover up what you did. Do you have or can you take a pic of how bad it is? Most ppl prefer no front plates like myself lol. Btw don't take offence to some of the responses. Its just a forum with all kinds of people from everywhere.

Omg that is ridiculous... they branded their dealership to the front bumper?? WTF is that? seriously... car dealers are the scum of the earth... no shame.

OP, you will notice that some people on this forum think it is perfectly acceptable to act like an ass... sometimes those same people are pretty good at helping out when you need info and advice. Good with the bad, I guess.

OP, if you want to go the license plate route, that's fine, but fixing a bit of paint won't be as bad as plugging the license plate holes and then fixing paint later on, should you wish to remove the plate later.

In retrospect you should have had the dealer remove it,it was very silly of them to put it there in the first place.
Is the paint gouged? or could a professional detailer help? maybe a picture of the damage would help us in giving you better advice.

Have you gotten quotes from other shops? Even if you took the stickers off cleanly, they are imprinted on the bumper. If you have the funds, and the rest of the car is mint get it repainted.

I would walk away from the transaction with a dealer such as this.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but looking at that damage, I can't tell if it's something you did taking the decal off, or if it was pitting from the previous owner, that the dealership simply covered up with a decal. Are you certain you did this damage?

May be you are right,I bought this car from the dealer as my friend(who leased it) was almost finishing is lease(8 month left) .The car was perfect with only 46,000 KM;that was 5 months ago and the label was always there;but my wife has take the challenge to paint it with a touch-up paint,I will post the results when it's done. Thanks a lot to all concern for your suggestions,I realy appreciate help from forum's member

get it repainted.. you should have checked the car when you purchased it.

The dealer may offer you a front plate frame for free, at the very least. That may cover 70% of the paint issue as stated above. No matter what you decide, I say you did the right thing to remove it. Even with the damage, it looks better but I also understand that you want it to look 100%. Congrats on your new TL and welcome to the forum!

I agree with Potmilkz, the best solution would be to repaint, anything else would be a band aid.

One day, the dealer calls, wanting to know if I'm still interested, as the manager is putting various stripes and decals on a number of cars in the lot, and "mine" would be one of them. Playing it cool, I said "hey, it's your car...do what you want with it."
I go in a few days later, and sure enough, the Swift is still there, only now it's got these pink "splash" decals all over (meant to look like someone slapped it with a paintbrush). We negotiate a bit more, and I get them closer to my price, though they want to charge me $100 for the decals. I tell them the decals are coming off 5 minutes after the car hits my driveway. We make a deal.
I get it home, and my baby sister loves the car...decals and all. Especially the decals. So I figure I'll keep them a short while...can always take them off later.
Fast forward a year or so, I loan the car to a friend, and she drives it into the back of a U-Haul. Fair bit of damage, but the car performed like a champ in the collision.
I get the car back from the body shop, and find out that one of the decals had been damaged, and rather than find a replacement, they simply "paint matched" one on. Now they may as well all be permanent. It was in the classifieds soon thereafter.

I finally fix my problem

They painted the front bumper partially to correct the mess
