if you cant inspect a car, have a mechanic inspect the car...pay for a "pre-purchase-inspection" and put your mind at ease....
also, if you cant negotiate a lower price, maybe have a broker negotiate for you.
in the age of the internet, you have ALL the tools at your disposal...there are youtube videos on how to negotiate. there are youtube videos on how to inspect a used car.

If you really like it, ask the dealer to drop the price for whatever an independent inspection will cost. Usually you can get them for <$100. Tell them if it passes muster, that you'll buy it
Tell the indy mechanic that these have known oil consumption problems and propeller shaft issues, just so they keep an eye on that when they're looking it over. Ask if they do a compression and leak-down test as part of their inspection. That will give you a rough idea of engine health. Also look to see if it's had the recall and transmission software update done from the dealer. That's something you can do when you buy it but it's a plus if it's already done since the software update helps extend the life of the torque converter. So if it's not done yet, you can be sure it's had some increased wear during it's life so far. Not that it's the end of the world. I bought mine at about the same mileage and it wasn't done. I had it done right away at a local dealer and 150K miles later it's still going strong.

I purchased my 2012 tl-shawd with 58,000 kms for 20k CAD off of kijiji last year (with 2 year warranty left). Don't know if this info will even be helpful but just an idea of what I paid.
I personally would ask for a better price.

The 4G TL is an amazing car. I have the FWD 3.5 V6 with Tech Package and I’m reaching 73k miles and this car drives like it drove out a dealership lot. Good luck on finding a good one! It was tough finding mine.
Got her at 43k and she’s been running like a dream. I named her Betty White.

Null and proud of it
I have a 2013 acura tl with a 3.7 never had an oil consumption problem bought it with 9k I have 83k on it now had the car for 6 years. Had 1 recall for the Airbags that's it. Only other problems were oil switch, purge valve, and heated seat. Oil Switch no big deal replaced for free told me my oli was low but it wasnt.Purge valve told me my gas cap was not tight which it was was fixed for free and the drivers seat stopped heating up and again they replaced it for free under warranty. This shit you can fix yourself I didn't because fuck it I got the warranty. If I could go back in time would I by this car again maybe. I'm going to buy a used Honda Ridgeline next time . Let's just put it this way the car your looking at I would not buy sorry that's my 2 cents the car has no balls no good pick up trust me the car has a nice style but performance sucks.
