Ok I've been looking at a lot of youtube videos of exhaust systems on the 4g but I noticed all the cars are the sh-awd model. Guess people really don't like to mod the base model . Now is there a large difference in sound because doesn't the sh-awd have a 3.7 and the base have a 3.5? And I know it's a dumb question but has anyone had and issue with the warranty when doing an exhaust? Im going to assume yes

 

I just recently went in for 55K 1A service, no issues and I have a test pipe, electric cut outs (2x), and a non resonated system.

Make sure you talk to the service advisor and get friendly with your dealer, it's all subjective and they might give you a hard time...or NOT.

 

Never had a hard time when I had my full exhaust. I was more worried about tech's ragging on my car if anything to hear it rumble.

 

^ True, they hear you coming in and get all excited when you leave.

 

OK thanks a lot for all your input guys. One question completely off topic. Is there a specific way for the trunk button to work because every time I press it nothing happens. I have to use my key for it to work every time.

 

Have you flipped the switch to on in the glove box?

 

I hope so Now I feel real dumb
