Enough lurking....
Sent out a bunch of emails to local dealers in my area, waiting for them to get back to me.
Hopefully I'll have a '12 Tech (maybe even advanced) in my driveway here in the next week or two.
Ideally my local dealer with the 6MT will be smart and move it off his lot (it's been there since allocation one in March) for a good deal, if not anything goes (as long as it doesn't have a taupe interior lol).
Hopefully pics to follow ....

SH-AWD i'm guessing?
I'm hoping to have mine (FWD Advance) in the garage by this week, let's just hope things go smoothly tomorrow.
Nervous times.. i like how we both use "hope" a lot haha

OP... if the local search doesn't pan out to your liking, expand it out... that's what I did... found a sweet deal back in Nov 2010. I now have equity in the car without putting down a huge down payment. Good luck and don't settle...

That's the plan, don't have a whole lot of time to search outside of the state, but will if necessary, the car we're trading in is my wife's so she'll have to go to wherever with me to sign papers, and dragging her for the ride on anything more then a 2-3 hour car ride is a no go. Dealers are still dealers and need to sell cars, and while I'm ready to put down the money now, if it has to wait till the end of the quarter for a dealer to agree, so be it. But I'd rather it be sooner then later.
I think I hit 7 dealers yesterday, now the fun begins.
Yes, has to be the sh-awd, makes the car, that and it's just easier to get around here and back home to Vt.

best possible choice you can make.. imo the TL is best in one of two ways; full luxury (advance package) or full sporty (6 spd manual).. and of course i prefer the manual... best possible choice.. do it!

Nice...when did they start designating the SH-AWD on the MMC 12's...last time I was at my stealership there was no way to tell them apart other than the rims at times...

I have been tempted to go with aftermarket exhaust but still want the quiet ride.
My dealership rep recommends that I go visit an exhaust shop for something different when I asked about buying the exhaust from an '11 SH-AWD. I was willing to buy the set.

I wish I could find out if the 2011 exhaust will fit our '12's! The rear end tuck might have changed things a bit.
EDIT: Just called Acura parts.. was told the '12 exhaust is a different configuration than the 09-11. The 09-11 setup won't fit... same should go for aftermarket cat-backs and such...

Picked up the car, she's parked in the garage now ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I'm one happy camper, waiting for my little camper to go to bed so I can eat and take her out for a solo spin again

I cough myself sitting in the garage for over an hour at 1AM the first night i bought it home playing with the tech. It was hot so the car was running...look like i was trying to kill myself.

First thing I do when I get cars home is toss the plate frames and any dealer badging. In MA you can ask they do this at the dealer as well but knowing how some dealers treat cars I just tend to do it myself unless the dealer hasn't had the chance to put them on already.
