End of the road(for now)
So for the 2nd time in the last 10 years i have traded in my TL. This time i wasn't planning on it until I was meeting with a friend that works at Nissan and I saw the new Maxima... i couldnt help myself and bought this. That being said, Acurazine prob has the beat owners/forum because ofthe amount information available here.
Lease on the Maxima runs out in 3 years so i may once again look at Acura before changing cars.
Also the wheels which were on my TL and the all weather mats are posted on the for sale page in Acurazine. Actually I ended uo getting the same exact wheels for my new Maxima.

I love the interior on the new Maxima, very sporty. I'm just not a huge fan of the exterior, I don't hate it, but it didn't have the same impact on me as the interior did.
Good luck with it. I doubt my next car will be an Acura either, not really a TLX fan so I'll probably be moving on after my 4G.

Thanks everyone!
They actually did the car very well on this cycle.
Actually my first bet was to go with a TLX... mentioned to the Acura sales guy that my credit sucked during the recession and now started to build back up and the guy never emailed me back... only thing is my credit was not close to being bad and ended up getting a great lease on the Maxima
In a way i will miss my 4G but i think i will miss this forum more

Congrats. I like the new Max too.
There is a huge thread on the TLX forum about the Maxima. Most think it's ugly but they are die hard Acura fans anyway.

I also ended up getting the Platinum model for 42K and the tech on the Maxima kicks my 12 TL to the curb.
Though bold, still a big diff between the 09 TL and the 16 Maxima i think. Nothing in terms of a "Beak"
Here is a full frontal :p

I started that thread over on the TLX side, of course those guys think the Max is the ugliest car ever. Whatever, that's so subjective and not worth a response. I think its a great looking car inside and out. It's pretty damn fast as well, on par with my 6 speed 4G. It doesn't feel quite as luxurious as my 4G interior wise, but its not far off and a lot of the tech is much, much better. Plus it doesnt have airbags in it that could kill the driver and passengers

Think Acura should have paid retail trade in value for those who wanted to trade in they're TL for something else Acura. My first choice was the TLX and the dealer did a poor job of trying to keep me as a customer and once I saw the Maxima it was game over.

Have had 2 Maximas ('95 and an '03). I painfully regret letting go of BOTH of them. Great choice in a ride. Congrats!

Funny you say that but being a product of the 90's. I remember my best friend having a 1987 Maxima and a 1998 Maxima. Used to love the 87'. Was in a class of it's own at that time.
