DRL Bulb Question
are there any bulbs that are more a white, rather than a yellow? I currently have the eurolites installed, but it's no different than my stock bulbs.
not looking to match the hid, but i absolutely hate the yellow.
sorry if this was posted in the wrong place, not quite performance, not quite electronics :|

I don't think you'll find a halogen that eliminates the yellow. There are some that are slightly less yellow but your high beams will suffer as they are generally lower quality bulbs.
Your choices are as follows:
- go with LED's and lose high beam functionality
- pull the DRL fuse (this allows you to still use your high beams)
- deal with the yellow
I pulled the fuse because I also didn't like the yellow and I need my high beams.

I just put some 6000k xenon white cree xb-d 9005 LED's in my 2012 tl last weekend took about 20 mins. Got them from ijdmtoy online for 39.99 and 16.99 for the wiring kit , and they look awesome ... no more orangish color

The wiring kit is for your drl warning light will not come on every time you start your car... You still can use your hi-beams but with LED's there not as brite as halogen, there just white.

I have these in my 13 TL and they are as white as they come.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HFK2R9K/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1425709306&sr=1&keywords=900 5+led+headlight+bulbs
They do have high beam functionality, but they are not quite as bright as the halogens.
Since I only use my high beams rarely, I love these led bulbs.
No error message and simple plug and play installation. Probably took me less than 20 minutes to have it all hooked up.
