I was looking at the install instructions on the drawer as I was thinking of getting it and it's a lot of work to install. A lot more than I expected.

Here you go: http://acura.bernardiparts.com/Image...r_BII42541.pdf

It requires a drill and rivets.

I have seen one in a loaner car. IMO it takes a already small and awkwardly shaped trunk and makes it smaller and even more awkward. I guess it really depends what you want it for and what type of stuff you typically keep in your trunk. For my needs it would make the trunk less useful.

hahah I was going to throw my stinky work-out gloves in there and maybe a few air freshners

I just thought it was a cool accessory to have

You'll want to check out this thread Installed the accessory trunk drawer in my 4G TL today.

He said the install wasn't too hard and the pics look good. Looks like a good place to store smaller items and prevent them rolling around in the trunk, especially if you don't have the cargo net.

I just picked up a 09 TL Tech yesterday and it does have the trunk tray. It does slide in and out and looks like it would be pretty nice to have, although it does take some room away from being able to put larger items in the trunk.

I have the trunk drawer in mine and love it. I was going to install myself, but couldn't get past the rivet nut issue. Took it to the dealer and they finished it up.

It's been very useful, but can be removed if you need to carry larger items. Done that a couple of times. The rails stay behind, though.

I just bought one of these and thought that I would add that you need a rivet nut tool to install this and it can be rented from Barnardi Honda Parts.
