DIY: Splash Guard Installation
Has anyone installed splash guards on a 2012 TL? I ordered the painted set and, while installing, discovered that the push clip for the front one is too fat to fit into the hole. The original clip is about 7.5mm diameter and the one provided with the splash guards is 9.5mm (and it's a bit longer to accomodate the splash guard). The new one also looks stronger since it has some metal strenghtening bits inside.
Ideas anyone? Thanks

Hey guys, I just bought the splash guards / mud flaps and it says I need wax in the instructions. Is this necessary? If so, what type? I would hate to bring it to the stealership to install some mud flaps.. Thanks

I believe it's just to wax the area that the splash guards are going to cover.
