DIY Reverse/Backup Led

Hi,
Does anyone have a DIY on switching the stock reverse bulbs with leds on a 2012 TL? What size leds would I need to buy? Any suggestions? Pics? Thanks!!

dont know if theres a diy yet, but its pretty simple.

1. remove 3-4 clips that hold the trunk liner on the inside of the trunk near the tail light.
2 gently push it away and you'll see three nuts that are holding the tail light in place. unscrew all three.
3. you will now be able to pull the tail light away from the car and the bulb connecter is a twist and lock type so its pretty strait forward from there.

http://acura.bernardiparts.com/SearchOptions.aspx diagram, nuts are number 14

good luck.

Thanks a lot djtanveer!
Do you know what size led it would take? is it 921?
Those instructions seem pretty straight forward.

Hey thanks for posting some pics! Is the led blueish or it just shows up like that in pics? Is it brighter than stock bulbs? Do you have a backup camera? If so, does it help with a brigther view?
Im looking for a warm white led look. Thanks once again!

It's brighter IF I didn't tinted my tail lamp. But it is noticable if I put in reverse.

LED is not bluish white but pure white.

here is the comparison on my other car. You be the judge if they are bright or not....

you can pick these puppy up here

Just make sure it is CREE LED because SMD LED and CREE LED have similar look. CREE LED are 5-6 time brighter than SMD LED.
