Difference between TL and RL rear differentials?

I was looking online for a video showing the replacement of the rear diff fluid on a 2012 TL SH-AWD. Came across one showing the process for a RL. In the RL there are two reservoirs that need to be drained and filled. One is on the back side and the other on the drivers side. One for the diff gears and one for the clutch pack. This is confirmed when looking at the online RL manual. Lists the rear diff as having two different specifications for fluid volume.

In contrast, the rear diff on my 12 TL seems to have only two bolts on the back of the case and the online TL manual only lists one spec for fluid volume.

Both manuals I looked at were for 12 models. Anyone have an idea why the diffs are different in the TL v RL?

RL one is also more expensive because it has CF components. RL/TL diff/torque converter is not interchangeable.

Not sure if I was clear in my post. I am not looking to replace the differential. I just wanted to know what the differences were between the two besides the TL having one fluid reservoir and the RL having two.
