Dent On Roof. Sugestions needed on Repair.

So as the title states I acquired a dime size dent on my roof. Recently we had a bad ice storm in CT that caused several tree branches to fall from the weight of the ice. I seen a few twigs covered in ice on my car’s roof but thought nothing of it. Now that it’s sunny out and the sun is shining I can spot this dent easily. Any suggestions on repair? Should I even go through my car insurance?

Its hard to see but I can make it out in the first pic. I wonder if one of those suction cup thingys would be able to pull it out. Or Maybe you could remove the headliner and push it out from the inside.

I’m gonna look into that suction cup you suggested. I try my best to keep the car from getting dinged up but you can’t stop Mother Nature!

Here is another pic. Everytime I look at the car now. That’s all I can see now. Hate dings!

Just got a quote of $250 to pop the dent out of my roof utilizing a massaging technique through the headliner of my car. The Paintless Dent Repair guy has only seen pics of the cars roof. He said the labor of removing the headliner is what makes it pricey. What do you guys think?

Seems a little pricey to me. Prices range by region, but I was quoted only $25 per dent for the hail damage on my trunk. Granted, the liner on the trunk is much easier to remove than the headliner so it's not really applies to apples.

Looks like there is a crease in the panel. That may be a little harder to work out, hence the high quote. Headliner is simple, see if you can remove it yourself and just have the dude work it out.

Yeah definitely true region wise. CT is a very expensive state to live in so I assume the body shops are always on the pricey side. I have not called Dent Wizard. Any experience with them?

Gonna watch a few videos on YouTube to see the process on removing a headliner that way I can see how much time and effort the job actually takes. I remember my old Maxima which had numerous dents on the roof. Funny thing is Maaco who I took the car to get resprayed actually put body filler all over those dents. You’d never know it had dents but I have no clue how it’s held up since I sold that car 3 and half years ago.

*Update* After getting numerous quotes from different Paint Less Dent Repair shops which all ran between $250-350 range to fix the dent on my roof I decided to let it go. But to my surprise I ran into Paintless Dent Repair guy in a parking lot and had the guy come inpsect the damage and he agreed to glue pull the dent for me. To cut this story short in a matter of minutes my roof dent was gone before my eye and several other dents I pointed out to the Paintless Dent Repair guy. I’m so happy with the results! I only paid $25 per dent! Thank you all for being so helpful.
