Deal or No Deal!?

BG, you should be able to get the AWD/Tech in TX for around $37.7k +TTL. That's with the $2250 incentive, 3% holdback, and 3% ($1075) profit for the dealership and including $810 destination fee. Any other fee than that, you can and should dispute. Here's a spreadsheet that's very useful to calculate the price of the car.

The website itself is a good source of info for first time buyers if you're looking for a guide to car shopping.
I assume one of the dealerships you're shopping at is David McDavid Acura in Austin. Not sure if they're as arrogant as the McDavid in Dallas, but they were definitely the highest quote in the metroplex when I was negotiating.

The $1500 rebate is only for people coming out of TL leases. I had to reread it a few times to catch it bc I was a bit upset when I saw it offered a few months after my purchase haha.

Good news!! Although we didnt get it at super rock bottom pricing, we got an excellent deal and they gave great money on her trade in! Overall we are satisfied customers! Sterling Acura in Austin is top notch. They treated us wonderfully and did everything they could to make this a positive buying experience...

Its been pretty cool comparing the two. Both are awd and 300hp from the factory. I would say hands down the Tl handles better, even without having the suspension mods I have done to my car. Power wise, stock vs stock they feel about the same. Unfortunately, with my tune, dp, exhaust and air filter that is no longer the case....But not yet confirmed
A little pic whoring never hurt anyone!!

OK, so the marketing support of $2250 ends on September 7th.
Anyone know what to expect after that date. More savings? Less? Same or extension.
I want to try to sell my car rather than trade it in, but this incentive ends in 6 days.

Tell me what you think at the bottom.
Thanks for all the info. It has been very helpful in negotiating a price.
Depending on what happens with the incentives tomorrow, I should go be going to pick up my new TL this weekend.
The original offer through the Costco auto program went as follows.
Invoice $37,971
Costo price $1000 off invoice
Trade-in on my car $18,000
Difference after tax and license around $21,700.
My car is a 2004 Infiniti G35. There is a small area that I tried to paint with touch up myself that needs to be fixed. Since it is by the door jam, I was quoted $480. I am sure a dealer can do it for cheaper. Other than that and a couple of minor things, the car is in pristine condition inside and out. Always garaged and hand washed only. Here is a recent pic. I think their offer of $18000 is to be expected. I know I can sell it for much more, but will a bank finance a 6 year old car for $20,000, I don't know. I think it will be hard to sell the car because of financing which leaves me with trading it in. I could wait, but there is only one TL with the color combo I want, WDP with Taupe interior FWD.
So, I called the salesman today and said that I was still interested, but was hoping to negotiate a lower price. I told him that I was hoping he could use the dealer holdback and $2250 Factory to dealer incentive to get the price closer to $19,000 out the door. We are waiting to see what the incentives are tomorrow since I will be coming from out of town and cannot make it up there until this weekend.
Do you guys think this is a good deal?
Also, anyone know what the protection is? He said that the car had an added protection or something that cost $453.
