This is also interesting to read too. How hot do LED headlight bulbs get? ? Better Automotive Lighting

I'm going with the Morimoto fogs, Acme Switchbacks, Morimoto Reverse lights, and Acme T10's for the license plate through theretrosourcefit.com. Does anyone know if there is a promotion code available for Acurazine members still??

Thanks for starting this post CM. This helped me decide on LEDs for my car. I am going to post pictures of the 9005 and H11 (Fog lights) with LED this weekend as well. In the end, I chose this because I was in Canada.
Free Shipping To Canada And Usa For Putco 289005 - Silver-lux Led Kit - 9005 Pair Tdot Performance
Free Shipping To Canada And Usa For Putco 280011 - Silver-lux Led Kit - H11 / H9 Pair Tdot Performance
I got the anti-flicker module just in case as it was only $15 extra. It was worth it 'just in case'.
1. Try to get a weave heat sink. There are no moving parts to breakdown.
2. Have a 7.5 fuse just in case there is a problem with the DRL not working later.
3. LEDs are the way to go. The technology has changed a lot in the last 3-5 years. They are much now much brighter than the halogens. Don't buy cheap ones, you pay for what you get.
4. DRL in low and high beam is still pretty bright compared to halogens.
5. www.vleds.com's 9005 with weave heat sink appears to not be sold anymore.
P.S Thanks for posting the video of the rear signal light bulb change as well. More upgrades/mods in the future.

Google this or search for these items on the 2 sites below (Canada/USA):
Putco 289005 (9005 DRL) ~ seems like the VLED ones you mention in the post.
Putco 280011 (H11 FOG) ~ these look exactly like 9005 but the connector is H11.
I got mine from tdotperformance<dot>ca. But i have seen it from carid<dot>com.
I don't think you need the anti-flicker module (2009 TL) but I would order it with it just in case you need it.

LED DRL
Fogs don't perfectly match the Xenon bulbs but they are the same color as the DRL bulbs.
LED H11 bulb is deep inside fog light housing so it floods the entire area as white.
Please check out this interesting issue with the hand brake and DRL, I thought it was a fuse but it wasn't....

I mean.. that's subjective no?
This is for the 3G but maybe someone can apply it towards the 4G https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...switch-798978/

Burning Brakes
Subjective to a small extent only. Agreed, some may like the look; in my opinion, when I see it, I'm struck by the fact that it's someone trying to look cool. And trying to look cool is the opposite of actually being cool.
But objectively, I assume that we're talking about running only fogs in place of headlights at a time of day when headlights are warranted (otherwise, why are you bothering). And "objectively", fogs do not replace headlights. That's someone taking required safety equipment, and deleting them for pure aesthetics. That is, objectively, douchey. One might as well paint over one's brake lights so as to give the back end a nice clean look; doesn't mean it's a good idea.
